Oh, never mind! I see how it works now. It creates a new beat/bassline - they're numbered in the drop down box of the editor. I was expecting to just add another track to the open window but that's not how it works.
LMMS 1.21 Linux 64 bit on Linux Mint I open beat/bassline editor and use the default track that appears there. Then I click the "add beat/bassline" button to add another track and it deletes what I have put in the existing track instead of making a new track. Is that the expected behavior?...
