Thanks for the links :)
I will look at it :)
I think people who are giving their hard work away are entitled to put whatever conditions on it they like. Loads of the stuff I use is free but only for non-commercial use...seems reasonable to me, if you're making money out of their work perhaps they should get some of it too.

freesound.org has lots of interesting samples. Most is completely free and royalty-free but you'll probably find enough variety of licence conditions to upset you.

http://www.looperman.com/ has many samples/loops etc. but no good for you because some do ask to be credited if used in commercial releases.

And the VST and sample lists at
http://bedroomproducersblog.com/
should give you many more to play with.

You're totally right, but 1: When I said "free" I meant "free of cost and with freedom of use". There are plenty of listicles out there with titles like "The 20 best free vsts" or "5 free dubstep drumpacks". but the conditions of use make them
irritating and/or difficult to share and post without legal fretting. What, to the publisher, accounts for "attribution"?
2: Conditions don't bother me. I'm a chill dude. I just don't like a bundle of conditions that come with a "free" thing
it's not free then, is it? Why not just sell it and save yourself the trouble of legal costs when people ignore your license?
Thanks for the links.
I already know about Vst4Free.
I always check that site, for good free Vst's.
And to get info, on the latest free Vst's. :)

My recommendations so far:
Synth 1: http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/softsynth/
Is one of the tip top, of the tip top best, actually legit free Vst's out there.
It's a very simple, yet complex Vst. You'll never believe the kind of sounds, you could make with that thing.

Cosmo girl 2: http://www.uv.es/ruizcan/
Is another good yet rare one.
I would have never known about Cosmo Girl 2, if I didn't check out Vst4Free. Ha! Ha!

Delay Lama: http://www.audionerdz.com/
Thank God for this singing monk. 8-)

EffEm http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?pl ... Em&id=1361
Lots of nice effects.

I'll add more good, high quality ones, as time passes.
Has anyone else gotten a Vst, Sounfont, or sample pack for free, then discovered that in the license there will
be "occasional distortion after ten minutes"
Yep. Lol!
That's why I would normally read the info, or read the user comments, on these type so called free music items on the web, before I download them. Just to make sure, there isn't some sort of catch to them.
Sometimes, it's super tiring, but worth it.
Thank you Brandy, One i'm still working on is Helm
http://tytel.org/helm/
It's super powerful, but it can crash Lmms if you use it too much (but I only have 2.1 Ghz of Cpu, and 2 cores, so
there's that too)

You make Vst's?
Oh, euphamism no, I just download 'em, test 'em and use 'em. I don't have a lot of patience for coding.
I meant that I'm still trying to figure it out

Okay cool. 8-)

.. removed at the moment
