I made a lot of new skins for LB302 and i have to know what's the best for propose it then on github.

Afaik, there are no immediate plans to refurbish LB302, but you could ask

If we have updated the skin, we have to update also the instrument design, to give LMMS a new and fresh GUI, that can attract more people. TripleOscillator has been already implemented after the redesign, so i thought to make a skin to some other instruments, and i started with LB302, but i made toot much, so i put them on a poll. I think it's a good idea, until it will be implemented LMMS 2.0, with budislav one-window concept, and i think ZynFusion implemented. I'm waiting for this a lot, with those changes LMMS will become like a professional DAW, even better than it already is.
In the meantime I think a better design will not hurt someone.

I also want to show on github DmitryLeon2000's new Patman icon and artwork, bcause he hasn't already done it. I will give credit and he link of the discussion on this forum, because i think it's a great skin.

Thanks, but the poll is finished, and i posted the final skins (https://imgur.com/a/osfSvXO)on github here: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/pull/4420 and they don't seem so interested. I will try again on discord, but i also have lost the gimp project due to an usb key issue, so i really don't know, ... I'm sorry, i hate usbs, and i haven't made a backup. So what remain at now are the images i posted on internet, that maybe will be enough, maybe won't...

We will see...

Have you tried to contact the people who take care of the graphics (I don't know who)?

They call back umcaruje in the github post so i think is he, but then they closed the post before he could partecipate. Also as i said i lost the gimp project and i had special knobs there, so what remains are only those images. I can try to recover artwork and knobs separating them from the imgs i have, but i don't know if i will have success.

Also i think devs are not interested to works on graphic: the only one they have reskinned was 3osc because the user that made it provided also the code for implementing. So maybe they aren't interested in designers (i'm not really one of them) that aren't also programmer, or more probably they have no time for that if they want to public soon a stable version, maybe there are more important porblems to solve, even if i think that new fresh graphics could make the program more known.

I am not a dev, but have spoken to some a few times.

I assume they like the skins, but they already have not enough time and coders, without them.

I really like the metallic ones I saw.

So i'm pleased to say that i recover most of my project, so maybe this could be continued. I have just contacted umcaruje on discord right now, will see if i'll have an answer
