It's not possible to split the audio at the moment. This will be implemented in the future. But not in the coming release 1.2
The main reason for releasing a beta version of a software is to let the user find bugs. So yeah, bug reports are very appreciated. Please feel free to file an issue on github. Please don't forget to tell us which operating system you are using.

and it should be an easy feature to add.
LMMS is open source. You can do it and help us to improve lmms for all users.
You can move the pattern by click on it, hold <Ctrl> and move it to the right place. Then you can resize it from the right side. That's a work around this problem. In 1.3 it will be possible to resize from left. But at the moment there is no other solution.
Unfortunately we had to remove the changes to triple_oscillator. They leads to a bug which made triple_oscillator unusable in certain circumstances.
I guess you are using the sample track. Unfortunately it is a little bit broken. You can play the sample only from the beginning. Be sure the play head hits the start of the sample.

In the upcoming version of lmms it will be possible to play a sample from every position.
Hi Sawure.

LMMS isn't named "Linux Multi... M... S... " anymore. But we decided not to change the name LMMS. It's well known and there's no better name for it.

For the spelling issues you mentioned please feel free to file an issue on our bug tracker. https://github.com/LMMS/lmms
Thank you for your suggestion. This is one of the top 5 wishes for lmms. But unfortunately it is not easy to implement. Perhaps we find a good way for this in the future. We have already an issue filed on github for this enhancement request.
