That isnt preferrable as in that case im asked to allow lmms to make changes to the computer each time. Still doesnt seem to fix the problem, you say i should try loading a vst AFTER i open my project, so im guessing you mean that this method still wont load the vsts (and it doesnt by my tests) and ...
Yes, it works. x86 VSTs run fine on a 64bit machine. Actually, ins some cases the x64 versions dont run. Some VSTs such as this generate additional 'clipping'-like sounds: http://dskmusic.blogspot.com/2010/09/dsk-overture-released.html I dont know if its a 64bit issue, as i dont have a 32 bit machin...
When i have a vst plugin as FX, and i press the Controls, two windows appear instead of 1 and one of them is completely blank.
well then, I hope this will be fixed and I will be able to open my vst projects from 'explorer' the same way i load my projects which do not use a vst instrument, and the same way i open just about any file.
I use LMMS 4.9 and Win 7 64bit. This applies to ALL VSTs ive tried, both as FX and vestige instrument. I get an error similar to this: The VST-plugin AfterShockDelay.dll could not be loaded for some reason. If it runs with other VST-software under Linux, please contact an LMMS-developer! First, the ...
Im using 0.4.6 (0.4.5 on ubuntu, its the one from the package manager that should update itself).

I sure hope this will be fixed. Hangnotes always appear for me when i change the octaves while a note is playing, if this is useful info for the devs.
So is it how you call it, "hangnotes". How can this be outside of LMMS? It happens in sf2 player and vst player, unless you consider them not part of lmms. The real problem is with vsts, LMMS simply CANT load a lmms project with VST in my experience, so all your settings will be gone. And ...
Sometimes sf2 and vsts just hang, as if I haven't let go of a key. If there was a way to forcefully 'kill', that is mute, stop all currently playing sounds I wouldnt at least have to restart LMMS each time. Theres a similar feature in other software, like ZynAddSubFX, it has a button called "St...
Im not really sure about the name, ...but i cant think of anything better.

Whats the problem with icons again?
OK, but I cant agree that adding it as a section to the "Working with samples page" is a good idea. You see, it will cause confusion. It should be a separate page as with "Working with VSTs" and "VST database" pages, or the opposite: merge the last two. Otherwise it wil...
