Thank you for the welcome, and thank you for pointing me in the direction of some helpful guides. I resolved the issue myself. It was as simple as not plugging into the proper USB port.
I just recently got an M-Audio Keystation 49es to connect to lmms. I have Windows 10 and I followed the instructions on how to connect it, but it didn't work.
