Alllllllright this rabbit hole just went deeper today. Had the artifact happen again, this time on a BRAND NEW PROJECT FILE. And NO POPUP from ZASFX. Had the artifact happen again, this time on a BRAND NEW PROJECT FILE.
And NO POPUP from ZASFX.

I should also mention I am using the 64-Bit version of the Nightly build.
Even weirder, I re-exported it earlier today and it sounds fine.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????
This is progressively becoming more annoying every time it happens, and I'm never 100% sure on why. This happens exclusively with ZynAddSubFX. Sometimes when I export a track I am working on that includes ZASFX instruments, the ZASFX control panel will pop up mid-export. I have forgotten to close t...

I find the new method of setting the loop start and end points being entirely controlled by the right click to be annoying and clunky compared to how it was right click for set end point and middle click for set start point in older versions of LMMS.

Could we maybe have it as an option?
No that is not a general issues afaik. Is it in any project, or some specific? No, it just happens out of the blue with little rhyme or reason. Would be nice if LMMS atleast included some kind of failsafe systen that keeps an emergency backup of an unsaved file in the case of irregular close out or...
Is there a way to export to midi with the correct patches? Id est, so every instrument doesn't just become "001 - Grand Piano"?

PS:
Is anyone else having the issue of LMMS crashing out of nowhere?
I would like to chime this in aswell, I can convert and export MIDIs directly using the soundfont as the desired conversion thru VirtualMIDISynth and the instruments will play correctly. I couldn't remember the word, but it's interpolation. There's no interpolation in LMMS to smooth out the sound of...
This is the exact .sf2 I am using:

As for whether it's faulty, I don't think so.
Good buddy of mine used the same instruments in FL Studio and they sounded fine.
