have noticed mp3 to sound different on Windows verses Linux. (same hardware) (openSUSE vs win 10 and win 7)
Yeah, I'm thinking it could be a combination of things.
I'm not sure if it is my imagination but I compared the same project on Windows 10 and on Lubuntu 20.04. The Windows 10 version sounds a little sharper and clearer than the Linux (Wine) version. The VST plugins (with Wine) are A1 Trigger Gate and VladG Limiter n6 https://www.kvraudio.com/product/a1t...
I'm going into the negative with three different effects... Calf Vintage Delay, NastyDLAmkII (one of my favs), and Calf Reverb on SEGuitar and it's producing a clarity I don't think I could get elsewhere. Very nice feature, that negative value!
Yes, I just got it going in Linux. When you unpack the Linux version of the plugin, make sure to move the relevant files - NOT their containing folder - to: /home/yourusername/Documents/lmms/plugins/ladspa This install does not show the original GUI but it doesn't really matter because we should be ...

The tune sounds really nice. Thanks. Oh, it definitely has a groovy 70's vibe! So... are you going for 70's "action" cops show, or 70's "drama" cops show? I would suggest maybe speeding the tempo up just a little bit, unless you are definitely aiming for drama. It just feels eve...

This was composed entirely on LMMS but mastered in Reaper, basically just tweaking the levels a bit and extending the crowd sounds... 😀
You run the whole FLs as one VST, on reaper?! -or am i misunderstanding you? I doubt that you could do that in LMMS.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. Even as a demo you can run FLS as a VST on a Reaper track or tracks. It does take a lot of juice, though. I usually get fed up and just go ba...

This has some pro-level sounds but it only works on Windows / MAC. I did get it to work on LInux with Wine, though.
