I want it to save here with the other drum kits
C:\Program Files\LMMS\data\projects\template
but i go save as template. then file>new from template.
and it doesn't show up. oh well. shrugs
i literally have to to go drag the .mpt file from documents and put it in the new from templates folder to get it to show up. oh well at least that method works ;(
basically what i would like to do is build kits in the beat+baseline editor from samples and then be able to pull those kits into the project i am working on. For example have maybe five different kits and be able pull the into any project.
"Simlinks" cool. I saw a similar method for Ableton but i forgot how i did it now lol.

also is there a way to link multiple folders if all your plugins are not in the same folder. can i add a shortcut from one folder to another or does in only look in the one folder.

so i know that it doesnt record audio, at least not yet, but is it possible to plug in a microphone that has a usb cable directly into your computer. could you then record audio from that microphone ?
I know how to point LMMS to the folder that i keep my vst's in, but how would I add a second folder to the path? so that it looks in the original and then also the second one.
