C_H is no doubt more clued up on the MIDI cable length thing, I can't remember where I heard /read this about cable length being an issue, but I remember using hardware synths master clocked by an Alesis MMT8 and cable length was thought of as a contributing factor to latency ( which could cause err...
@ 1.5ms you should not really be able to notice a lag/delay from playing to hearing audio, I suspect there is something else going on here with your midi setup. Things to note:- (1) Is the usb cable quite long? if so this can cause a delay, solution get a short as possible midi cable. (2) Do you hav...
Hi guys i have managed to upload a soundfont, which i had to place in the "themes" section of LSP as it was the only place that would accept a .tar.gz file. This is a linux standard compression folder, but afaik windows users can unzip/open it with 7-zip which is a free application. http:/...
sometimes on ubuntu or perhaps any DE that uses pulseaudio, things can get messed up , i find the easiest way is to remove the hidden folder ~/.pulse from you home folder and kill/restart pulseaudio with killall pulseaudio, which recreates ~/.pulse again , hopefully with the right soundcard settings...
thanks, your above commands worked for me this time. I now have Wrap Overdrive installed system wide as i copied wrapod.so to /usr/lib/ladspa :)
*UPDATE* whenever i use g++ and c++ the error is exactly as above, but when using gcc the error becomes multiple errors .... ~/wrapod$ gcc wrapod.c /tmp/cchSln6r.o: In function `_init': wrapod.c:(.text+0x237): multiple definition of `_init' /usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.6/../../../i386-linux-gnu/crt...

I have multiple ladspa's installed and working on my system so i know this is possible to...
Hi . sounds like a neat plugin, but i cannot get it to compile on ubuntu 12.04 32bit. I have tried with c++, g++, gcc etc but i am getting the following error... ~/lmms/include$ c++ wrapod.c -o OD.so /usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.6/../../../i386-linux-gnu/crt1.o: In function `_start': (.text+0x18): ...
Perhaps you dont have the VeSTige dependency installed ... wine-dev , therefore the plugin wont build.
For the part of your question about the samples, this is a sample_track in the song editor you are using, which unfortunately cannot be assigned to any fx-channels as it defaults to the master channel in the fx-mixer. * note that you can add ladspa or vst effects directly to the sample-track by left...
