Made this lo-effort lo-fi track in LMMS with some loops. I dig it.

I'm putting together a free compilation of ambient sound/music jams for my netlabel.

Here is a quick demo I put together: https://soundcloud.com/user-988339680/p ... boathouse/

Anyone up for representing the LMMS forums and making a track?
Very well done. I dig it.
I would classify that as ambient/chill. Good track man.
No. I have a wife and three kids and a career as an IT professional. In my younger days I was in a band. Making electronic music allows me to continue that creativity even though I don't have time to be in a band anymore.
Since the discussion of audio recording is prohibited in this area, can the mods move this topic to a thread where it is allowed? I also fully agree with the OP's opinion on the importance of recording audio. I think it would be beneficial if would could keep discussion on this topic open somehow in...
audacity has a metronome that you can set to match the BPM of your project. I have had the most success doing it that way. Unfortunately no audio recording function exists internally to LMMS that I know of.
lay it down in your track and open it up the same way you would a piano roll. Then any slider or knob anywhere in LMMS can be dragged into the automation track by holding ctrl.

Here is a video that breaks it down quick and easy clearly
