I have found the pitch control knob for a midi sample but that only allow detuning by as much as two semi-tones so that will not be enough to correct something that is Eb and should be C, a difference of three semi-tones! good find, and you atre right. seams some of the samples are of low quality :...
Many give an E flat pitch when C is pressed, some give an F. factory-samples? perhaps an example? anyways, you can change the key on the insert to 'fit' the harmonics. Some 3. party samples are so detuned that you will need to pitchbend them, but lmms can also do that (the pitch knob on the insert).

its not that the sounds is dependent of folder-names. The problem is that the char-table that is used internly does not reconize charachters from other char-tables than the std. table. So when a non-reconizeable charachter is used in a internal function, it is concieved as an error, and lmms does no...
one thing that could cause this is the paths used in Settings If you search you will find a topic on lost settings in general. The short version of all this is that you are not surposed to have used any charachter in any named folder that is not in the english alphabet -as part of any of your paths....
first we need to know what you did.. The correct method is to: save your project from the menu choose **Project **export change untitled.wav to sumthing.. !remember to add extension 'wav' eg like 'mysong.wav' *save the next panel gives you several option. just use the default for now.. press 'start'...
..well, the piano-roll panning do leave a tiny signal for the 'outpanned' channel, so it would qualify as a glitch.
The Knob 'PAN' on the song-editor for each instrument does however completely close the outpanned channel.
