After a good look at my project, I am gonna have a talk with my producer about his feedback. I am not gonna to delete that second part. It is already a variation, on the first part, and I like it. The bass-line however is the same, so first thing to try is to change that, and see how that works out....

Look in the folder were you save you're files, if there is a back up file. ( A file with the same name but with an extra part .bak.

If you're on Linux you can open this file by double clicking.
On windows you will have to rename this file first. (you need to rename it so the .bak part disappears)

That sounds a bit like an issue I sometimes have on linux too, but its only with projects with certain vst in it.

Bottom left of the screen I see a few windows bar flicker, and then lmms totally freezes.

Some times it helps to not start that particular song fullscreen.
