Thanks Brandy... glad you like the track. I know sometimes you have to give these things time. Don't think I've ever done a month though. I usually manage like a week or two at most. What I've been doing lately is putting a track on soundcloud then a few days later playing it from soundcloud on my p...
Had a lot of trouble finishing this one. It was really stressful for some reason https://soundcloud.com/spugintrntl/atmosfear Does anybody else have that problem where when you're working really hard (read: obsessively) on any given track, everything just starts to sound... What do you mean by "masking effects"? I'm not familiar with that term.
Thanks Brandy! Glad you liked the track! Your EQ advice is actually pretty helpful. I've been getting the feeling that everybody does it a little differently, and hearing it from you is kind of refreshing. I've been reading as many EQ tutorials as I can get my hands on, and everybody seems to be obs...

Not that this would help much, but I'm pretty sure Macintosh Plus/Vectroid (you know, this person: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU8HrO7XuiE ) is a female producer. So, I mean, they're definitely out there. Glad you're finding a community!
Awesome video! Working with samples in LMMS can be made a little easier if instead of using a sample track you drag them in as an instrument. This will open them up in the Audio File Processor, and from there you can edit them further and add effects and even mess with envelopes and lfo and whatever...
I know you can set a section of the project you're working on to loop from the beginning, but I'd like the loop to start somewhere in the middle. Basically what I'm trying to do is to get a certain section to repeat over and over so I can jam out on the keyboard and get used to improvising without c...
That was actually a pretty clear and concise explanation, at least for me. I had the basics down (threshold and ratio), but the other ones I hadn't really messed with. Thanks for that! Also thanks for the download link.
Awwwwwww yeh.
