I've now found out how to move tracks/instruments around a bit. Is it also possible to hide tracks or a group of tracks so as to optimise the space on the the screen? Sometimes one wants a bunch of tracks to "be there", but not necessarily visible, just to make the working easier.
Hi That stems way seems a bit clunky. I know that sometimes for production purposes stems are the way to go, but sometimes one simply wants to mix a bunch of tracks down to just one track. That could be the whole set of tracks, or just the strings, brass, winds or percussion - for example. That is p...
I'm currently using a Mac version of LMMS and gradually getting used to it. I found out how to duplicate a track, but what I now need is a way to delete an unwanted track. I'm really surprised that "obvious" things don't work. Surely there must be a way. Could someone let me in on the secr...
In some other DAWs it's possible to create a new track by bouncing - i.e. recording audio or combining tracks into another track. It may also be possible to bounce in place, which I think replaces one of the tracks being bounced. Is it possible to do this in LMMS? If so, how? Perhaps this is not pos...
Obviously thats why I now have versions working in English Actually it's not at all obvious. It would seem that my using the Portuguese language program say a week ago has somehow affected my machine, but this should not have left any flags to be picked up by the LLMS program. OK - I've got that fi...
Things have improved, slightly. I found that I could access what in English versions would be Preferences by looking under Editar. After Editar then Opções Then Linguagem – American English It's a pity there is no British English, but having it work at all is good. There are several forms of Portugu...
Thanks for the suggestion re Languages. I'll have to revisit this in the morning, but right now it doesn't look to me as though the versions I've downloaded, and there have been several, have allowed access to a Settings panel. Other versions I've seen before clearly did have such access - so I'm no...
I have been trying to install versions of LMMS on my machines. I have several Macs, runnng different OS versions. I have already posted a thread about installing on High Sierra, but for various reasons I decided to do the "upgrade" of the laptop to Catalina. After quite a long while, and c...
A quick update, though I’ve not made any useful progress with this yet, unfortunately. I looked further down the page, and noticed a comment about always downloading from the official site - which I think is hosted at github. So I went back to that and downloaded another copy. Sadly it had exactly t...
I have been trying to install versions of LMMS on my machines. I have several Macs, runnng different OS versions. One is currently runnning High Sierra, and I'm not rushing to update that to Mojave or Catalina. I tried to download LMMS recently, and I found a version which works, but unfortunately i...
