One thing I'll do is if I have a specific sound set in mind, I'll make a playlist of songs that have those sounds in mind. That way, I can reference those songs to make my synthesizers and beats.
Well, Pokemon left behind the 8-bit sound era once they moved to gameboy advance. Most the music from the newer games use high quality sound fonts and are much more orchestral, or there are a few distorted DnB styled ones.
Alright, so I added a bit more to my song, and I honestly would like to hear some more input regarding the song. So quick overview; this is a Variation in Production Remix of an earlier song of mine called Golden Puppets. The new version is a concept for a boss fight theme in the /vp/ reddit group's...

But as this is technically a very belated remix stemming from that contest, I should be fine. Are you familiar with Beatport remix contests? Cause they're posted ...
Hey, so I made a remix/mashup using vocals from the Beatport remix contest for Days to Come by Seven Lions and the production work from Lux (2016 VIP) which I wrote. I figured I'd leave a link to it here and see what people think of it. - JD https://soundcloud.com/davisjacobym/sl-days-to-come-jds-lu...
