Yop, Finally no cover of Burning Spear "Father East of Jack" but my first original dub tune. Writing a bass line and finding the right chords is a hard work for a drummer with no theory knowledge. Hope this one won't make your ears bleed. https://soundcloud.com/user-121938440/rainy-day-dub/
Yop!

I love the shades in the tones and in the performance. I love the structure, the intro, the long crescendo ending with a quiet and nostalgic moment. A nice piece of music.

Curious to listen to your next tracks.

Thank you guys (no ladies as it seems) for your positive vibrations, he he he Most of the tracks are samples, from LKJ, Marley and UB40. I will surely replace LKJ's bass by a more "roots" version taken from the Garvey's Ghost album of Burning Spear, as soon as the sample is ready. Special ...
Yop, As a first attempt to use LMMS, I tried to make a dub version of Bob Marley's "Night Shift" (could be worse, "No Woman No Cry" for example). Thanks to the guys who posted the bass line and the chords, being a poor drummer, I could not have guessed them by myself... The MP3 e...
