Fortunately, VST3 has been on the dev's radar tracker for a while (since at least 2018).
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/pull/5801 is an example of preparation for including VST3 support.

I haven't had this happen to me in the 10 something years I've been posting tracks publicly on SoundCloud, Clyp, and Bandcamp. The raspberry pi 3 meets recommended hardware specifications, as it is a quad core 64 bit device with 1 gb of ram. Its stock OS is a flavor of Linux.
