If you want to use it on linux with lmms you have to use the carla bridge.

Install carla then open lmms.

In your bbe open a carla rack then in your carla session open the linux surge and voila!

Sounds like a LP filter with almost a no or maybe very low res and a slow slope for the filter itself.

I use linux too and as a phaser i now use stonephaser whic is a simple lv2 linux phaser plugin, works well and is quite simple to use
Afaik catla is meant in lmms to work as instrument.

Fx work directly in the fx mixer.

If your fx is windows vst it 'll work direct if wine is well installed and setuped.

U use caria only to be able to use n1tive linux synth pluhins to work with lmms.
