Well I gave it a try and it worked fine.

Setup:
Akai mpd drumpad linked to a carlarack track and in carla the avldrum plugin with a focusrite soundcard running at 1.5ms latency in lmms.

Whats your soundcard?

It may be too much layency on rec or maybe ghost double tap due to the pads?

This said I have akai mpd so i will give it a try and tell you if that works @ home.

Hello, It is the normal way. When you mute a track it means that you mute the instrument/plugin , not the notes it plays but the instrument sound itself. I think the bb is ther to allow you vary the notes you can play with an instrument along your song , it avoids you to duplicate an instrument for ...
