I think I am, but that piano hmmm, I don't know. It does not sound nice to me. The piano fits in nicely, I would not change anything. You have accomplished in a few months, what I have seen others take years to do. Keep up the good work. Thank you. I stepped out of my comfort zone, on the melody, a...
i think you are in key. The piano is a little 'weak' -what vst did you use You could try to double the notes, but set volume on either the high or the low octaves to half the value of the other. That can sometimes give a piano more 'weight' in the mix Thank you, will give it a try. but I already ha...
Hi Guys, I would like to get some feedback, on how to improve, and I am not sure I am in tune. I think I am, but that piano hmmm, I don't know. It does not sound nice to me. I also uploaded the file to lmms share, which might make it easier to discus the issues if any. https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=sh...
I see, thank you :)
Something to think about.

Maybe like this

1000 1000 1000 1000 kick
0000 0010 0000 0010 reggae like cowbell or synth.
Cello was prob the one I am thinking off.

I do not think its depressing.
That's because, with certain sounds we don't notice what is lost by the compression.

I always use mp3 at 320kbps, the highest possible quality setting for an mp3.
But with good enough speaker or a good headphone you will hear, when you rip a cd to mp3, that some of the dynamics gets lost.
Just something I like to share with you guys.

My latest composition, No Regret was made for a person I love.
She said she really liked it, and felt special.

Mission accomplished, and I could not have done this without the lessons from you guys.
Damn, that sounds almost like a real violin and another instrument, of which I cant recall the name.
Lets call it a big violin :P

I really like it, is this classical music ?
Maybe someone else can answer that, but here is a list of vst that do work.
(others might work too, you can only try them to find out)
