Hallo,
I have been using LMMS for several weeks, and in my opinion is the best open source DAW.
my little wishlist (sorry for my very bad English):
1-ability to record audio (with a simple metronome sound or - better - with other tracks playing in background.
2-beat/bassline editor: ability to change the note played in a simplier way. Default note is A4. Currently, if I want to play, let's say, F4, i have to change tuning of the instrument: F4 is 4 semitones below of A4, so I have to change the position of the square above the virtual keyboard and put it on C#5, which is 4 semitones above A4. It is very tricky. I would like to have another square (different from the current square, which is for tuning) to directly choose the note played.
Please note that the following FAQ on the LMMS wiki is wrong!
