Hello everyone,
I have some suggestion about how folders and files should be organized in LMMS:
• In the "My samples" tab, the files aren't organized well. I think that the following will be better (don't include the double quotes):
"(1) Basses" < A folder for all the basses. (These are all synthesized).
"(2) Leads,pads & plucks" < A folder for all the leads, pads and plucks. (These are all synthesized).
"(3) Percussion" < A folder for percussion that contains to sub-folders: "Real percussion" and "Synthesized percussion".
"(4) Instruments" < A folder for instruments that contains two sub-folders: "Real instruments" and "Synthesized instruments".
"(5) Hits" < A folder for all the hits.
"(6) Loops" < A folder for loops that contains two sub-folders: "Drum loops" and "Others".
"(7) Vocals" < A folder for all the vocals.
"(8) Pads" < A folder for all the pads.
"(9) SFXs" or "(9) Sound effects" < A folder for all the sound effects.
"(10) Shapes" or "(8) Waveforms" < A folder for all the shapes/waveforms.
* I think that this is more simplified, well-ordered and organized. Do you agree?
• In the "My home" tab, "Contacts", "Documents", "Links", "Pictures", "Searches" and "Videos" folders should be removed because the content that is usually stored in them can't be used by LMMS, am I right?
