Hi, I'd like to suggest a small little idea I've had which is:
* It would be nice to be able to, when pressing the space-bar, play the playlist in priority but if told otherwise with a second play button or maybe a boolean button where if ON would play the piano-roll only otherwise it would play the playlist.

I know my post is a little small, but I had no idea how to write it other than this way, hopefully it's clear enough ^^'.

Yes you are correct. It would be nice, if the space-bar had direct connection to play, and modifiers could control the target. This is also a feature ('transport') that is planned, but yet not scheduled.
