* Pitch-changed samples over a span of the keybord
For me that work. Try instead to load the sample to drag it on the sample map, then stretch.

See this video from 1.30 and later

I will soon try also this, that maybe works on wine

Also this seems interesting, it's like a free kontakt with only 2 libraries

P.S. We should make a topic to talk about vst testing in LMMS
So, i'm trying some vsts i have, also commercial.

Like, at the moment

reFX Nexus 2.2 Pass all 5 the points.

Reveal Sound Spire 1.1.7 and Sylenth1 2.21 pass them all but .fxp doesn't work, for both works only .xpf (LMMS Preset).

That seem not to be a problem
(both as fxp and lmms-presets? - In fact only one of these options is needed)
This on Windows and RC6

Ok, i tried also DSK Electric and Saxophones. Electrik Guitarz doesn't memorize the change of instrument after a reload, and on saxophones you can't automate parameters. So nothing again for this time.
Also helm works on linux. A discord user tell me about it.

Also Cobalt works on Windows. And NoizeField Splash

Also Otameal 38.1 but works only LMMS preset not xpf

I see it starts to load the .dll , but nothing happens after this.
Could that be a WINE issue?
But a lot of proggies from windows does not run in WINE at all, isent it so?
Yes very likely.

Well allot of windows programs do run in wine, but not all, and with vst its hit an miss.

I have had succes with running an exe, then copy the .dll files from the virtual windows disk under wine, and other stuff if present to the lmms vst folder.
For grace this failed. I tried it 3 different ways 64 bit and 32 bit, all failed.

On the bright site.
I have replies from the Linux musicians forum.

Linux sampler should be in Carla. or at least something like it.

Hope the link works:
https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.ph ... 935#p93935

if not:
However, all hope is not lost. Lmms can use carla and you can load any Linux plugin in carla. So, it's a nice work around.

IIRC carla has it's (her?) own implementation of Linux sampler. Should just work.
So for linux users the solution might be carla. I still need to try Carla more. As far as I know it can also load vst, so grace might work through carla in lmms on Linux.
Well, Grace does not work for me.
I get a crash almost immediately after adding samples.
I cant (yet) figure out why. I do not have wrong version, afaics..

The fault cast is a 215, followed by a freeze.
For this reason, others with different kinds of win OS, is needed to try out Grace.
Dumbly i even gave Grace a whole new category in Tested.. :|
May need to edit that..
Carla though as far as I know also work on windows.

The last time I read about it, the windows version could not do all the linux version can, but should work.
