I think the ability to add custom bookmarks to the file/preset browser will be good!

Yes, something like this could be useful. I kind of implemented this distinction between own and factory objects in a low-tech way.
I add an ID-syllable to all my own 'stuff'
F.inst If i make a preset that is an organ, i add "org_rockOrgan"
This let me use sort token-search feature as:
If i want to find any organ, i search for organ
If i want to find only my organ(s), i search for org_

I think too this could be useful. I have some free sample packs and when I need to add a one shot, I need to go lo-o-o-n-g way! It would be cool to click on the RMB -> Add shortcut, for example, and add a shortcut to this folder.
