Hi.
I am very grateful for the program LMMS.
But, for the complete replacement of all the DAW is missing two things: support for vst (vestige missing on Arch Linux) and the possibility of importing tracks (wave, mp3).
Besides imports, need to be able to edit track speed.
Examples of how to implement the editor (warping) of track speed:

After you complete these requests LMMS would be leader of the free software. I guarantee.
FWIW VeSTige has never been removed, but it is an optional thing and packagers often simply leave it out because it is rather tough to build
You can import wave files. You cant import mp3.

If VeSTige is missing you need to talk to the package builder for Arch or compile LMMS yourself.

You also need to install wine.

LMMS with vst support runs fine over here on openSUSE Leap.
