An idea for the piano roll (don't know what to call it)

Hi!

So recently i've been trying to make a voice mashup sound and have found it pretty difficult, mainly because i have to switch between different voice piano rolls.

I had the idea of making it so you could select different instruments and open the piano rolls together? effectively having them overlay over each other, maybe having the notes for each instrument be a different colour.

That, or adding something to let us sort of "combine" different wav/ogg samples to be used in one piano roll?

Thank you for your suggestion. This is one of the top 5 wishes for lmms. But unfortunately it is not easy to implement. Perhaps we find a good way for this in the future. We have already an issue filed on github for this enhancement request.
