Hello!
Recently I have been working on a Sharp Dark theme for the LMMS UI. The Button Images will be changes as well as all if not most palette colors.

Once I am somewhat satisfied with what I have so far, I will make a download possible.
This so far works with LMMS 1.1.3 . I will also make a 1.1.90 version.

This UI theme is also strains your eyes somewhat less when in the dark. Thus the theme name "Night".
It works better for the 1.1.90 though. 1.1.3 still has work to do...

Honestly, if you know that as a fact, you should work on that issue. Eye-strain is no minor issue, but is followed by headache, muscle-tension and fatigue/ artrosis

That escalated quickly.
I think it's a decent theme for working in low-light environments. The color choices are fine, what bothers me more are small texts, buttons and knobs. This is more a general issue, not specific to this particular theme.

Yes, sort of. UI scaling is like making a trade-off between having more workspace and bigger knobs/buttons/texts. I have yet to find the right balance. I find that a lot of VSTs have too small UIs, and many of them don't have any scaling options at all. I have the Windows Magnifier tool pinned to my task bar for quick access.
