How to make this instrument in ZynAddSubFX?

Go to 4:03, it's the main instrument there. I keep trying and trying, but I can't manage it. It doesn't sound like it has any unison, but it also sounds like it's saw-based, and whenever I try that without unison it sounds terrible... any ideas at all?

Yes, a tutorial would be nice. Do you get the grittiness from some sort of phase modulation, or something else?

Actually, if you uploaded one to LSP, I may be able to open it up and see how it was made. Can you send me a link to it?

i dont have a link, but i can remember i named it ..drill.. , so it should be easy to find on LSP
