controlling envelope in SF2 Player

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Yop,

I would like to use some soundfonts for a brass section, SF2 Player does the job, except that the env/lfo tab is inactive (Envelopes, LFOs and filters are not supported by the current instrument).

At first sight, no effect is able to achieve what I'm trying to do.

Is there an alternative to SF2 Player that would allow to control the envelope?

TIA!

Of cause there is, but what sound is it you hope to get?
You have us guessing on both the actual sound, and the ENV setting
Can you make a demo on soundcloud for the ENV and one for the SF-sound, then its a bit easier to advise in this
Hello Mister Bear,

Here is a short file with the sax soundfont played by SF2 Player. The first scale is the sound "out of the box", the second one has a sort of envelop made with automation. Not exactly what I want, but quite close to.

Obviously, using automation to create the envelope of each note in a whole track will be rather cumbersome, especially for short and quick notes. Any idea of workaround will be much appreciated.

TIA!

I have made many tutorials on how to use the deep settings in Zynaddsubfx (zasfx) You can find them on my playlist for instrument-building -here:

Start with the oldest, because there is a learning curve..
