Momo64 is a preset song included with LMMS when you download/install it.
OK, Momo64 is the name of the user who produced Momo64-esp.mmpz (project, which is located in the CoolSongs folder).

So yes, the demonstration projects are copyrighted, but I do not know under what license.

There is this: https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=License

I think the idea is to update the demo songs and probably the license will change then. it would make it quite a bit easier to answer if the license was the same as the software. ;)

OK, thanks for that clarification.

Will there be mention of licenses in demo songs themselves (e.g. in project notes)?

I was just thinking about the same thing. License is a question that keeps coming up. There is at least one issue for improved project notes that includes an option to specify statement. https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/2557

Indeed, the Single Window Concept proposed by Budislav answers this question well (and more generally, this concept is very exciting :) )

I guess you also considered the possibility of including a metadata form in the export options? Something like an option for the license that would appear in audio files (in fact, I do not know if it is possible to include this type of metadata in audio files).

Yes, that's also been mentioned. 8-)
