Here it done with a sound-file with a recording of rain, but you make sounds 'muffled' with filters
either the inbuild filters:

What are the instruments used in it??

its a piano with a tad of darkness -eg enhanced in lower part of the spectrum, for that you use equalizers on the FX-tab

Its a good way to start there or on a page like 8notes, but there they have very much information, and it can be quite daunting ..

Think of scales as of a group of notes , that sound nice together.

Depending on the scales and notes used, a music piece can sound cheerful or depressing.

Once Upon a Time in the West is a good example of sad music.

In general the minor scale sounds less happy, and the mayor scale sounds happy.

I learned allot from the vids of musicbear. The good news about music theory is that you need to understand it, but don't need to remember it. Lmms knows most or all scales and most or all chords.

I already use mostly jazz scales to play variety of music.
And i guess i feel i can play any sad or happy music in just a scale.

Yes, that is true. There is a complementary scale for each scale, also show in my vids.

For that there are absolutely no given rules

Mostly you wil have a bass, that together with the percussion, sets the rhythm
Some melodic elements like woodwin pads or similar, and a solo instrument as a distinct prominent carrier of the tune

An advise: listen to a lot of the music you like to make. Understand
* the structure
* choice of instruments (learn to know instruments
* the beats
* elements in the bass-line
Listen to the music you like, and dont jump/ sprint forward, take small steps.

Especially its important to understand, why you cant play f.i. a c-minor-chord in a cMajor-scale

But learning these things needs only one 'thing': Study!
You wont get any understanding of these things if you do not take the time to study.
