see all instrument & beat editors all at same time?

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
how can I see all the different instruments in the piano roll and the beat editor all lined up in time so that I can work with them together?

Can you clarify a bit more? Did you mean like the piano-roll that FL Studio has?

Anyways, since you're new here;

I will check those out, thanks...say, I have watched your youtube vids before

and in response to the other poster above who asked for clarification (since I cannot respond to him above, given time limitations on posting here), I just want to be able to see all the notes of all the instruments at once, as well as when the beat instruments play...so I can synchronize them and adjust the notes with reference to what the other instruments are doing....

ohh thatta way. No, that is not possible. We are planning for something, where other piano-rolls can be present as a kind of 'overlay' in the one you work on, but looking in more than one piano-roll is not possible.

so, if you cannot see the different instruments together all at once, how do make music? if each instrument is on a different piano roll and you can only see one roll at a time, how do you make the notes work together?

You need to listen to the whole composition as you work on one piano-roll, and that is what i show in those videos
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFy8tipBbB8
and B&B

it is all about using the "Playback & Record" button

(3. from left) inside the part of piano-roll, where you are working. You do that with the loop-bar-points, but watch the vid :p
