Hi,

Are there any ways to make a growl bass and glitchy bass with LMMS stock plugins?

Any help would be appreciated.

Absolutely!
but you best find a video or soundclip online, with the exact instrument sound, you are looking for. -Link to it!
You need to add exact timestamps, for where the wanted sound starts, and less important -ends
Like @2:32 -> 2:55

Ah thanks got it. The sound clip could be a sample too right? Also, one more question: is LMMS compatible with third-party VST and AU plugins as well?

The best is that you find an example on f.i. youtube or soundcloud, add timestamps, and link to that in this thread. Then we can understand what exact sound You are looking for.

Two things are used
1) tapestop-effect
You can create that like:

2) very fast percussion rolls
Experiment with Quantification and insert notes at very short distance apart
And this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfX9kzvayJU
Timestamp: 01:13-01:37
That is called formants
Here i showed how to make formants in zasfx

Compare the list with our list of tested-VSTs, but Most VSTs instruments all works in LMMS
