Input note length manually

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hi,
I use Lmms to add background noise to my videos which are around 10~15 minutes long .The typical process is to use white noise in the piano roll and stretch it manually across the timeline.This is a highly inefficient process as sometimes the sound is 5 to10 minutes long and needs to be stretched accordingly.

So.I wanted to know if their is any way to add notelength manually in the pianoroll.
I did check here-
but their is no way todo a manual input.Also the longest notelength (1/1) is quite short for my use.
Please let me know if their is any way to add notelength manually in the pianoroll.

Thanks.

Well not really, but you can get this done very easy.
In piano-roll
* set the magnification to lowest possible
* toss in a 1/1 note
* Drag it longer.

Because you have low magnification, even just dragging it screen-wide, will cover ~60 bars! (depd. on your resolution)

Then -after you have made this one long note, go to the file menu, and create a new Template in the "save-as" menu-item
Or just save that project and reload for next use, again you can use the 'save-as' to create a new project file, but with same content.
That is the best i can come up with
