Creating a "Muffled" tunnel-like sound effect

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hi,
I wanted to create a "Muffled" tunnel-like sound effect as background music for a train scene.

It would be similar to this sound (@00.14)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FURKSFubvwg

I managed to create a tunnel-like sound using "Dirty reece synth " under Triple Oscillator. However ,I was not able to achieve the "muffled" sound .

I have tried the Ladspa -Cabinet effect,Canyon delay and Tube effects but I could not achieve the desired muffled sound.

Please let me know if their are is any other way to achieve this effect.

Thanks.
Try using a low-pass filter on the dirty reece synth. It will cut off the higher frequencies giving it a "muffled" tone quality. Good luck to you!
Thanks @DJB for the quick response,
I did try the low pass filter but their is no change,
Infact I tried all the filters but could not achieve the muffling effect,
Okay, have you tried using the 2x2 eq to cut all of the higher frequencies? Might give that a shot.

But it is LP-filtering you need. When you say 'no effect' are you sure you did enable the filter?

Here in this picture Filters are NOT enabled!
Right-most you need to click the diode, and turn it green
Then filters are enabled!
Then you turn the FREQ-dial to a low value, and you have your 'muffled' ourput

Do you need a general filter tutorial? -Does others?
@musikbear Thanks for the solution.I must have missed toggling the filter option ON.It produces the desired effect
