Problems with changing Time Signatures

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hi,
I'm making a Remix of Vs. Ridley from the Metriod series using this: https://musescore.com/user/17320/scores/29742. However, I've run into a problem with the time signature change. I spent a lot of time figuring out how to change the time signature, but the second time signature change causes a gap between two sections that should be seamless. Here's a link to download it to see what i mean: https://www.mediafire.com/file/laxrtt5e ... .mmpz/file. If anyone can help me, I'll be really grateful!

problem with the time signature change.
You do that with Automation!
Maby you need to learn a bit about automation in general first:

For time-signature automation, it is important that you use a non-diskrete progression!
It is best also to use a high magnification, og the highest Quantification (Q) witch is 1/192
Both settings make it easier

In case you need a video, let me know

So I definitely had that problem with my song Mirror, Mirror—it had changes from 6/8 to 9/8 to 4/4 then back to 6/8 with a tempo change. Eventually I had to set the song time signature to 1/8 just so I could line everything up without that seam, and the second 6/8 section was produced as a separate project, then exported and imported as a .wav sample into the original master file.

If it helps, try “muting” your automation for the time signature, setting your master tempo to either 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16, line everything up as you need to, then “unmute” the time signature automation.

Either that or just produce the song in 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16. It’ll be a pain to work with, cause you won’t have the measure boundaries defined anymore, but it’ll at least make it so you can seamlessly switch without problems.

The 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 thing is actually much less difficult to work with at least for me.
an overall remark on time-signatures. They are really not used for changing 'pace' in music. They are meant to divide music in bars!
