What makes this sound

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Just re reading over the thread, and VST's that have been recommended, i want to make sure i have not miscommunicated.

I am not asking about the sound that only occurs at 0:57, not the one that is a Vinyl record being spun backwards briefly, the sound i am talking about starts there and continues on into the track, it stops at 1:37 then.

So it begins at 0:57 and exits at 1:37
Sybth 1 vst ?

1m24 ?

But I wonder if its a sampler we hear.

It totally reminds me of james brown is dead at 0.40 .

I think I hear a pitch change, but musicbear will probably know how to do this. :)
I can hear what you mean, James brown is dead does sound close to it alright, i actually own that in Vinyl as it happens.

I will experiment with Synth 1 and see how i go.

thanks.
I stmbled across this when looking for information on how to replicate James brown is dead sounds,

I now have them all downloaded, need a little bit of emulation here now i reckon to be able to access the content.

Now that is kind of a problem since thats exactly what Glitch can do :P

whole new ballgame :p
Yep Gps is correct : Synth1
Its a somewhat detuned saw with a noise-element, and a LP filter fairly open, but you have better info i understand

Ok,

I will try out Synth 1 with a detuned SAW and LP filter.

If you want to try and replicate it please do and offer up what you find, i would greatly appreciate it.

I Tried Synth 1 with detuned saw and low pass filter, think the speed of the saw was a problem before i quit for the night, have to speed up the sound and add noise to see if i can get close.
