I found something else.
I said before there are two version, an older and a newer version.
The midi file I have, is of the old version. The difference is not that big, but was enough to confuse me.
The midi file has these up down notes, and I was like wtf, I don't hear that.

Sounds that starts at 0.28 min
Compare it to the newer version..

This sounds like somebody was using the pitch shift on a keyboard synthesizer.
I finally understand the midi file. There are more small differences between the two versions, but now I should be able to finish this.
Will have to use some of the midi file, because I doubt very much I can do it by ear.
I don't even recognize a C or any of the other notes, but only hear they are different.
Googling on how to train this, mostly told me you need to start this at a early age.
I am afraid he is right.

Any thoughts on how to train it ? I never had common sense stop me before from trying,
I would never been musical were I am now if I had.
Still having fun that when I started people asked if I was tone def.
Took me months to hear why Music bear said no, in a vid about scales.
I did not hear anything wrong at first.
