How do I learn to use the Synths?

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
So I've watched the New York School of Synthesis Videos and others explaining soundwaves and overtones and whatnot, am I just overthinking and just need to play around the synths?

What are some intermediate and advanced in depth resources on synths are there?

I think so. a lot of the theory in synthesis for engineers are seriously important, if you want to build new synths, especially analogue, because a lot of the mehee in wave and such, is contained in locked libraries, used for soft-synths -Well even kits..!

Your ear is your best tool :)

you know your synths well already.
Out of curiosity.. Have anyone ever bought a track? After al they can just record directly from stream...

Just play around with some synths and synth vst's. Experiment with different wave shapes, like the sine wave, saw wave and square wave etc, and try to make some sounds for yourself. You'll be surprised at how much you'll learn, from doing that for a few weeks.
