Looking for an awesome synth sound :-)

Hi all,

I'm learning LMMS with the help of an ebook and as practice I'm trying to recreate Eric Prydz "Collider" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPfDw6-VoFI. I think I have the drumline pretty good now, but I'm struggling to find the right intrument to use for the melody. Specific sound I'm looking for can be heard clearly between 1:00 and 1:30. This sound defines the entire Opus album and I have been trying and searching for it for hours :-) Any help much appreciated!

Grtz,
C

intrument to use for the melody.
That is one of the most used instruments in EDM: Supersaw
This particular one is highpitch has a part of square added, and has a moderate resonance. I believe it also has a HP-filter
maybe even a dual-filter, to soften the sound
Does any of this tech mumbo mean anything to you?
You can learn about filters and instruments here: https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Ma ... or_Patches
And i have made some video about it to:

You could use several of LMMS-native presets, but when it comes to super/square-saws, the VST Synth1 is unbeaten!
Hey thanks for the help, supersaw sounds pretty much what I was looking for indeed. This guy explains it pretty well in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0md-MWzB90k
