I would like to be able to find a good siren sound which matches or is similar to the sound in Clock Tower: Don't Cry jennifer.

It is a rather 'stock' siren, but then it has added a fading delay
The siren itself, you can make with any plugin, it is just a sound variating in pitch over time!
But it happen to be a preset in the 'must-have' plugin for SF2m witch you can find in our

In Bank 5 preset Siren,

you have not only a siren that can be played on various keys, it even has the fade :p

Bear, that looks like it's been added to a track in LMMS; is that the case? Please explain how if so, I downloaded and installed Polysynth and GeneralUser and can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Please explain how
Firstly it is in GeneralUser, the one that is linked in useful resources
First you open a SF2 and then you must load GeneralUser from your collection of SF2-files. (I have my GU as Default-Soundfont in Settings, so mine is autoloaded when i open a SF2-container. -recommended)

Default GU will load with the patch "Stereo-Grand" from Bank 1 !
But GU has 16 Banks!
To the right of "Stereo-Grand" there is a tiny 'v' mark -Guess its meant to look live a 'ok'-mark :]
Anywitch first clivk on that, then the Patch-selecter opens.
All these patches are in Bank1!
But Sireen is from Bank5!
Click Bank5 to the left, and then you have 4 patches in that Bank
just select siren, and ok your self out of the selector, then Siren is the selected patch, and will play the length of the note in piano-roll

Got it?

I do, thank you. I wasn't entirely sure what you meant, but I went ahead and extracted the GU download directly into the LMMS "soundfonts" folder under "samples," and loaded up the GU SF2 as if it was just dragging a preset over from the ZASFX banks. Loaded right up.
I've been tearing my hair out trying to get a proper siren sound for a few days now; there are several online demos of this using Serum, but the only wavetable I have is Soundspot's Union and the how-tos didn't translate directly. I also tried Triple Osc using a sawtooth wave and pitch-modulating LFO, but what I was able to get just didn't sound "real." I'm sure I'll get it in time as I gain more experience writing electronic music, but I have an idea going right now and just want to write the thing.
I guess that's just part of the learning curve, and the way I've always learned things is to just dive right into the deep end and thrash around until it clicks. This gets me a little further though.
I appreciate your time and willingness to share your knowledge Bear, thank you again.
