looking for a simple round Bass sound + help for audio sampl

Hello everybody, I'm Zack ..; a really newbe from Paris
I would like to put some bass on a traditionnal music track. So I'm looking for a simple normal deep bass sound instrument (without picking or electonic effects). I tried APBL but still not convinced because I failed to remove the pick effect and the bass tone is not deep enough.
so please let me know if you have some idea in mind!

Also, I would like to now if it's easy to work on an Audio file with LMMS, because the track to edit is recorded in an audio WAV file.

That would be an upright analogue Acoustic Bass -right
There are a couple of bass' in the collections in zynAddSubFX (zasfx). Have you looked at those?
You can also find VSTs instruments with fine Acoustic Bass' -either sampled, (big ones) or generated

Some 'DSK's' fails in lmms. I cant remember if that is one them..

No. Lmms cant edit sound-files at all!

I found somme VST instrument called FabBass and it's amazing.. all what I was looking for.

For Audio edition I think ... I misspoke about...
I mean .. could LMMS allow me to juste align my original audio file with the bass track I will play and make some simple mixing ?
I already have the exact tempo of the song and the right division time and wrote the bass track so I would like to use a sampler just for accurate synchronisation.

Not automatically. You can manually move any sample inside the track, but we do not have a feature that will auto-align or synchronize it.

Again you are not in luck. Lmms has no native sampler. (yet)..

The closest is AFP


The important dials are the 3 i marked with yellow. You can make subselections inside a wave-pattern, and control where the start and end point should be. The mid dial set the part, that can be repeated.
