How do they make these sounds?

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to find 2 sounds to add into my edm song, it's shown in the attached URL. Does anyone have any idea of the name, where to find it on lmms or how to manipulate something else that sounds similar to the sounds?

Martin Garrix "Animals": "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCYcHz2k5x0" from 1:17-1:28, where he uses something to create the melody.

"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_KH7Tw97HU&t=1s" from 4:47 - 5:07, where the performance uses something to also create the melody.

Please help. Thank you lots.

You are correct for the Korean gameshow. I can somewhat emulate the solo instrument in the Korean gameshow now, so thank you lots.
For the Martin Garrix song, It's actually not the laser sound, but it;s like the constant enjine-like sound that I was referring to. Do you know how to emulate this sound?

Hi guys,
Hi, Welcome to the Forum TVQS !
Here are all important links:

sounds similar to the sounds?
For Garrix i assume you mean the 'laser-shots'(?) -like in an old atari-game(?)
Take a look at sfXr

That plugin has a laser-section. If you work like described in the article, you should be able to get the wanted pitch-slide and length. A diffeent option could be to regard it as an 808 electronic snare (disco-snare).

In the korean gameshow im not sure if you again talk about the 3 'laser-sounds'? You write
create the melody.
those 3 'laser-sounds' are effects in the melody, so i assume it is the actual solo-instrument you want to emulate?
The melody is played on a pitch-note-envelope super-saw.
Natively we do not have an instrument for that.
I made a tutorial for Synth1 a VST -perhaps best VST of all..!

Engine sound
The 'scratchy' engine-like sound, is a detuned supersaw. It is also Pitch-modulated.
In LMMS we can pitch-modulate in two ways
1) https://lmms.io//wiki/index.php?title=P ... tor#Detune
2) Automation of the PITCH Dial, that you can find on almost every instrument

Both features can recreate this kind of 'sliding into' next note
