WAV import

I have a WAV of a song I really want to sample but when I put it into a Sample Track, it doesn't put the whole song in, it acts as a beat I can modify. How do I allow the whole song to just generate in the Song Editor?

Are you on 1.2.2? An earlier version had an import-issue.
1.2.2 can import single files ~50 mins, but you ofcause has to have the necessary RAM for that!
If you do not have 1.2.2, upgrade:

If you do have 1.2.2, please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
