I need some help to learn LMMS and Music production

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hi guys, 5paceBoy here. I need some help to learn how to use LMMS and Music production in a properly manner. I made this song [ https://soundcloud.com/5spaceboy/5paceboy-dance-stream ] with some research that i made in basic concepts of music theory and eletronic music production, but some concepts still "strange" for me. I don't know how to make Drum patterns in a creative way and i also don't know how much "elements" i have to put in a song and how i could arrange them. Because of that i feel like the songs that i made are a bit "empty" and "simplist" in a negative way.

I plan to study concepts in something like that order:

1.LMMS
- Basic elements of the program
- Synthetizers of LMMS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Music Theory
- Melodies
- Scales
- Chords
- Harmonic field
- Arrangement
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.Synths
- Basic sound design
- Bass
- Leads
- Plucks
- Pads
- Other types of sounds
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Mixing
- Basic effects and such
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Mastering
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it okay to follow that plan or is lacking something that i need to know?
Looks good, and what I did was watch many vids.

Vids on LMMS and music theory. Also some vids of people using hardware synths.

Firstly: Great control of instruments. No clicking or popping and no clipping. That is very good if that is your first song!
The best part (imo) is @1 min -> 1:35, but then you struggle -The variations are 'strenuous' -Tou have run out of idea for the theme.
But for a first our very good!

I plan to study concepts in something like that order:
I really like your dedication and the plan look great.
1.LMMS
- Basic elements of the program
- Synthetizers of LMMS
Here you already has good insight. no need to point to my 'rookie-guide' you are past that.
We have a wiki https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page and we anso have a new gitBook. https://docs.lmms.io/user-manual/ The wiki has more content, but is less structured, but may also be a little more fun to read :p
2. Music Theory
- Melodies
- Scales
- Chords
- Harmonic field
- Arrangement
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good! Here i would point to my own tutorials, but many other are available

3.Synths
- Basic sound design
- Bass
- Leads
- Plucks
- Pads
- Other types of sounds
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

and perhaps:
4. Mixing
- Basic effects and such
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Mastering
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mastering is really not a subject for you yet. That is all about getting a uniform expression on a release with more than one song (EP LP) ..in some ways Mastering is a part of the vinyl-age
Another series of tutorials that you might like are from Cubician. He's done a series in the past but had time commitment issues and had to take a break.

So now he's rebooted the series and started over!
