How do I trim or crop the gap in my piano roll that continues to play after I make my loop or use a sample. Some of the samples I use don't fit in the frame and it messes up the smoothness when I want to have a beat repeat in the editor. Like the sample will be finished the piano roll but it doesn't end perfectly within the brackets and a silence rolls after until it loops again.

This is literally my first day even attempting to use a DAW so bare with me.

I think you may use a wrong time-signature. The time-signature controls how bars are structured.
