Well this is K-pop, so the instruments are instruments for pop.
I cant say that i think there is any secrets to that discrete 'guitar', the complete sound however, is not all that simple.
A lot of peeps believes that 'pop' -well thats dead simple, it is not!
study a track like 'Barbie' by Aqua and you soon realize that both in instrumental layering, and in tricks and advanced rhythmic, it is quite difficult to emulate.
In your track From .30 to .40 there are at least 3 different rhythmic patterns in the guitar! That is really what make it stand out, it is neither on or off beat, it is 'everywhere' but without loosing the beat!
They also vary the velocity. Some notes are pronounced much more intensive with high velocity, others are dampened. That alone creates an interesting pattern.
So what im rampling about is that you could use next to any giutar'ish sound, but the way it is played, that is the real deal.
