Background:
I compose with Sibelius, record audio playing my guitar, and edit audio with Audacity and Cool Edit.
I can write MIDI tracks to disk from Sibelius.
The only information I know of that's in those tracks besides the notes, channel, and patch is tempo and a single dynamic level.
(That pretty much exhausts my knowledge of what is in MIDI files.)
I have worked with Cakewalk piano roll and other views.
I have not downloaded LMMS yet.
I will run LMMS in Windows XP.
The question:
Can I import a MIDI track into LMMS instead of entering the notes ala piano roll as explained in the manual?
